She has a deep passion for optometry and continuously seeks to expand her knowledge in behavior optometry and neuro optometric rehabilitation.
Her passion for behavioral optometry and syntonics optometry is rooted in honoring the rich heritage of the two optometric fields and is deeply personal, shaped by her own experience as a patient with binocular vision problems (BVD). Having navigated her own vision journey, Dr. Wang is committed to learning from many pioneers in the profession. She stands on the shoulders of giants to provide high-level behavioral optometric care and neuro-optometric rehabilitation services to patients in need. With her expert knowledge and cutting-edge optometric tools, Dr. Wang is dedicated to improving her patients’ lives and helping them achieve optimal visual health.
Before establishing her behavioral optometry practice in Guilford, Dr. Wang worked in private optometric offices, providing excellent primary eye care for patients of all ages. Her passion for helping both adults and children with functional visual problems has remained unwavering. While Dr. Wang no longer provides primary eye care in her own practice, she works closely with her optometry colleagues to ensure every patient receives the best comprehensive vision care they deserve.
In her spare time, Dr. Wang enjoys reading books about vision and hiking in nature with her family.
